LEUCHTIE with magnetic sensor does not work

Here’s how the LEUCHTIE's magnetic sensor works.

Make sure your LEUCHTIE is switched on via the magnetic sensor:

The magnetic sensor is located inside the light tube (opposite the tip of the battery compartment). To switch it on and off, move the supplied magnet close to this point.

Please note:
If you are using your LEUCHTIE in combination with another magnet, please ensure there is a sufficient distance (approx. 10 cm) between them. Otherwise, there is a risk that the magnetic sensor in the LEUCHTIE could be switched off.
The magnet in question could, for example, be a GPS tracker, a collar with a magnetic fastening or, in some cases, the magnetic charging contacts of a second LEUCHTIE (for instance, during rough play).

If you have a LEUCHTIE with a combined motion and magnetic sensor, please note the following:

The motion sensor only works if you have switched on your LEUCHTIE via the magnetic sensor.

  • If the LEUCHTIE is switched off via the magnetic sensor, the motion sensor is deactivated and the LEUCHTIE will not light up in any position.
  • If the LEUCHTIE is switched on via the magnetic sensor, the motion sensor works as normal.

If, contrary to expectations, your LEUCHTIE still does not light up, you can find further tips on possible causes of faults with the LEUCHTIE here.
